Chicago Cubs voice Pat Hughes to be featured guest at Quincy Baseball Club’s Hot Stove Social
QUINCY — The voice of the Chicago Cubs will be the voice of winter baseball in the Gem City.
Cubs play-by-play broadcaster Pat Hughes will be the featured guest at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when the Quincy Baseball Club holds its Hot Stove Social at Dick Brothers Brewery at 929 York Street, Suite B, in Quincy. Tickets are $75 and include a meet-and-greet with Hughes, photo and autograph opportunities, food and a non-alcoholic beverage.
Hughes has been the Cubs’ play-by-play radio voice since 1996 and has called 57 postseason games, more than any other Cubs broadcaster in history. He has called eight no-hitters and made a legendary call at the end of the 2016 World Series.

Hughes was inducted into the Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame in 2022 and received the Ford Frick Award, present annually by the Baseball Hall of Fame, in 2023.
