Schuck on a Truck: QND’s Tanner Anderson discusses record-breaking, game-winning goal against QHS

QUINCY — With the game tied at 3 and less than five minutes remaining in regulation, the ball found Tanner Anderson’s foot. From there, it found the back of the net.

The Quincy Notre Dame senior forward scored the game-winning goal in a 4-3 victory over Quincy High School on Thursday night at Advance Physical Therapy Field with 4:07 to play. In the process, his 80th career goal broke the all-time scoring record held by his older brother, Seth.

Following the game, Anderson joined Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman on the tailgate of his pickup truck to discuss a memorable night in this game night edition of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
