CHILLICOTHE, Ill. — The Quincy Notre Dame boys soccer team clamped down on Bloomington Central Catholic’s attack and limited the Saints to one shot in the first half of Wednesday’s 5-1 victory in the Class 1A Chillicothe Super-Sectional.

That effort is carrying the Raiders to the final four in East Peoria, where they will play Elmhurst Timothy Christian at 7 p.m. Friday in the state semifinals.

Senior center back Colin Kurk, who is one member of the Class of 2023 who will be bookending his career with final four appearances, talked about the defensive effort and the excitement of reaching the final four with Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman for a special game night edition of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
