Schuck on a Truck: QND boys soccer team celebrates Class 1A state championship
EAST PEORIA, Ill. — They grew curious — possibly more concerned — whether the suspension on Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman’s pickup truck could hold the weight of the entire Quincy Notre Dame boys soccer team piled into the truck’s bed.
Much like the Raiders throughout the postseason, Schuck’s truck held up just fine.
QND defeated Belleville Althoff 4-1 Saturday night to win the Class 1A state championship, the fourth state title in program history. Afterward, Raiders coach Greg Reis and the entire team joined Schuckman on his truck for another episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
