Trophy bucks: Hannibal’s Cowden harvests buck on opening day

A district championship on Friday night. A trophy buck the next morning. Last weekend turned out to be pretty prolific for Hannibal’s Trenton Cowden. A starting lineman on the undefeated Hannibal football team, Cowden helped the Pirates beat Jefferson City 47-0 on November 12 to win the Class 4 District 5 championship.
The Missouri firearms deer season opened November 13, and hunting in Ralls County, Cowden dropped this monster before 7:30 a.m.
