Area Distributors Area Player of the Week: Palmyra golfer Mallory Comstock

Mallory Comstock saved her best round of the postseason for last.
The Palmyra senior golfer climbed into the top 15 at the Class 1 state tournament at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club by shooting a 96. It allowed her to finished tied for 13th with a 36-hole score of 200 and become the first golfer in the history of the Palmyra program to earn a state medal.
Comstock shot a 100 at the district tournament and a 104 in the opening round of the state tournament, leading to an eight-shot turnaround. Her efforts and her historic accomplishment earn Comstock the Area Distributors Area Player of the Week honor.
