WENTZVILLE, Mo. — Elly Lorenson pinned her way to the state tournament.

The Palmyra freshman wrestler won five consecutive matches last weekend in the Class 2 district tournament at North Point High School and will head to Mizzou Arena in Columbia next weekend for the state tournament as one of the top seeds.
