QUINCY — A busy Tuesday night saw action taking place on the hardwood and the mats. Here’s a look at some of the area highlights …

• Already leading by 14 points at halftime, the Quincy High School girls basketball team used a strong dose of Taylor Fohey in the second half to finish off a 44-27 victory over Macomb at the QHS gym. Fohey scored 14 of her game-high 22 points in the second half as the Blue Devils improved to 6-3. Ainsley Holthaus led the Bombers with eight points.

• The Macomb boys basketball team picked up a Prairieland Conference victory, beating Farmington 45-33. Nolan Kerr led the Bombers with 16 points, while Jack Duncan had 12 and JT Jeter scored 11.

• The Quincy Notre Dame wrestling team won a pair of duals in a mega-dual event in Jacksonville, beating Riverton 54-24 and Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin 48-27. The Raiders’ Aidan Brunier won both bouts by pin at 285 pounds, sticking his opponents in 3:51 and 1:30.

• The Illini West boys basketball team outscored Unity 15-6 in the fourth quarter with Nolan Dietrich scoring 11 points as the Chargers rallied for a 46-43 victory. Dietrich finished with 28 points, going 6 of 6 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. Melvin McMillen led the Mustangs with 15 points.

• Winchester West Central outscored the Pittsfield boys basketball team 23-11 in the third quarter and earned a 66-54 victory at Bluffs. Adam Musgrave led the Saukees with 19 points and Nolan Daniel scored 15 points. Zach Evans led the Cougars with 29 points.
