QND girls win quadrangluar

COLCHESTER, Ill. — Quincy Notre Dame freshman Natalie Druffel earned medalist honors as the QND girls golf team won a quadrangular Wednesday at Gold Hills Golf Club. Druffel shot a 38, while Meredith Eversman shot a 40, Nancy Scholz a 41 and Belle Boudreau a 42. The Raiders posted a 161 total.

Canton shot a 184, Macomb a 200 and Havana a 256. Macomb’s Brenlee Tibbitts tied third with a 41, marking her career-low nine-hole score.

Raiders takee down Rockets

QUINCY — The Quincy Notre Dame volleyball team knocked off Rushville-Industry 25-21, 25-9 to improve to 10-1 and bouncing back from Saturday’s loss to Bloomington Central Catholic.

Bombers continue torrid start, sweep Titans

MACOMB, Ill. — The Macomb volleyball team beat Monmouth-Roseville 25-15, 25-14 to improve to 9-0 and extend their consecutive sets won streak to 18. Senior setter Quinn Rexroat dished out 20 assists and added five kills and two aces.

Chargers win seventh game in eight tries, dispatch of Western

CARTHAGE, Ill. — The Illini West volleyball team defeated Western in two sets, giving them seven wins in their last eight games. Reagan Reed paced the Chargers (7-2) with 14 kills. Abi White notched 12 service points and three aces. Corin Robinson had 14 assists, and Hannah Pindell and Anna Jacob each had four blocks.

Saukees win quadrangular, Mustangs’ Lansing medals

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — The Pittsfield boys golf team won a quadrangular with Quincy Notre Dame, Unity and Camp Point Central at Old Orchard Country Club. The Saukees posted a 164, and QND finished second with a 182. Unity’s Logan Lansing earned medalist honors with a 37. Harper Hough led QND with a 44.

Robertson, Mustangs swing their way to triangular victory

CARTHAGE, Ill. — Wesley Robertson, Nick Bruns and Brennan Grotts each broke 40 on the nine-hole Carthage Golf Club as the Chargers won a triangular with Western and the Quincy High junior varsity squad. Robertson’s 37 was the top individual score, while Bruns and Grotts each posted a 38.

C-SC women win another non-conference tilt

ST. LOUIS — Halle Jennex scored a pair of goals as the Culver-Stockton College women’s soccer team improved to 5-0-1 with Wednesday afternoon’s 2-1 victory over Missouri Baptist. She scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute off an assist from Alayna Chandler-Gutierrez.

Trail Blazers win in four sets

QUINCY — The John Wood Community College volleyball team beat Central Christian College 25-11, 25-18, 22-25, 25-14 on Wednesday night at the Student Activity Center. Abbey McMillen led the Trail Blazers with 15 kills, while Ava Crist had 17 assists.

Wildcats still searching for first victory

ST. LOUIS — The Culver-Stockton College men’s soccer team suffered a 5-2 loss to Missouri Baptist on Wednesday, falling to 0-3-2. Ruben Reinertsen scored both goals for the Wildcats.
