Stephens, Suns sweep Mustangs

AUGUSTA, Ill. — Amanda Stephens finished with 16 kills, 13 digs and eighth assists as the Southeastern volleyball team beat Mendon Unity 25-9, 25-17. The Suns are 16-1. Saylor Barry led the Mustangs with 18 digs and five kills.

Chargers win 12th match of season

CARTHAGE, Ill. — The Illini West volleyball team improved to 12-2 with a 25-23, 25-16 victory over Monmouth-Roseville. Reagan Reed had 10 kills and 10 assists for the Chargers, while Abi White had nine service points, three aces and seven digs.

Freesen leads Saukees to victory

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — The Pittsfield volleyball team beat Pleasant Hill 26-24, 25-23. Sophie Freesen had 15 kills for the Saukees.

Raiders beat Titans in Deer Run dual

HAMILTON, Ill. — The Quincy Notre Dame girls golf team tuned up for the West Central Conference championships by beating West Hancock in a dual at Deer Run Golf Course. The Raiders shot 178 and the Titans shot 235. Natalie Druffel led QND with a 40 and Meredith Eversman shot a 44. Lucy Woodworth led West Hancock with a 55.

Bombers finish third in quadrangular

COLCHESTER, Ill. — The Macomb girls golf team finished third in a quadrangular at Gold Hills Golf Course. Monmouth United shot a 176, followed by Rockridge at 191, Macomb at 211 and Havana 264. Brenlee Tibbitts led the Bombers with a 45 and Maris McKee shot a 54.
