Raiders showcase depth with victory to open season in Lady Titan Invitational

HAMILTON, Ill. — The depth of the Quincy Notre Dame girls golf team’s lineup showed in the Raiders’ season-opening event.

Senior Meredith Eversman earned individual medalist honors by shooting an 84 as QND rolled to a 357 team score and a 93-stroke victory in the Lady Titan Invitational at Deer Run Golf Course. QND junior Belle Boudreau was second with an 88, while freshman Nancy Scholz was third with a 91. Freshman Natalie Druffel shot a 94.

No one else in the field broke 100.

Macomb finished second with a 454, while West Hancock posted a 494 and Havana had a 612. Brenlee Tibbitts led Macomb with a 103 and Sophie Wilson shot a 105. Addie Svedja led West Hancock with a 116.
