Brown County’s Katey Flynn was part of the News-Gazette’s Special Mention 50 after leading the Hornets to a school-record 31 victories. She averaged 18.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.4 steals, and will graduate as the second all-time scorer in school history.

Unity’s Ashlynn Arnsman, QND’s Blair Eftink and Central-Southeastern’s Lauren Miller were named to the Honorable Mention 100.

Stephens, the 6-foot-7 senior forward, averaged 29.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.1 blocks despite suffering an injury against Steelville in the KHQA/American Family Insurance Superfan Shootout on Feb. 4 that cost him the final five games of his career.
