CAMP POINT, Ill. — A homecoming crowd, a rival coming to town and a victory. Life is pretty good if you’re the state-ranked Camp Point Central football team.

The Panthers took care of business Friday night, beating Brown County 45-0 in a Western Illinois Valley Conference North Division game. Central, ranked third in Class 1A, improved to 5-0 behind a dominant defensive effort and an offensive highlighted by Drew Paben’s speed and the line’s physicality.
