QUINCY — A West Central Illinois rivalry gets a postseason chapter added to it Saturday.

The Quincy Notre Dame and Pittsfield baseball teams advanced to the championship game of the Class 2A QND Regional by winning Wednesday’s semifinals and will square off at 11 a.m. Saturday in the title game at Ferd Niemann Jr. Memorial Ballfield.

The top-seeded Raiders advanced with a 9-1 victory over Pleasant Plains, while the fifth-seeded Saukees knocked out Warrensburg-Latham 8-2.
