QUINCY — Here is a look at the scores and highlights from Week 3 of the prep football season:

Quincy High School 48, Rock Island 7

• The Blue Devils open Western Big 6 Conference play by scoring on every first-half possession and limiting the Rocks to one first down through the first three quarters. QHS quarterback Bradyn Little threw for 320 yards and five touchdowns, whole Jeraius Rice Jr. scored three TDs.

Quincy Notre Dame 43, Springfield Southeast 0

• Jack Brenner caught two touchdown passes from Hunter Schuckman, while Ivan Hun opened the scoring on a 12-yard TD run as the Raiders, ranked fifth in Class 2A, won their debut effort in the Central State 8 Conference West Division.

Troy Buchanan 35, Hannibal 29

• A pair of second-quarter touchdowns gave the Trojans the lead for good in the non-conference battle. Mike Ferreira rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns, but the Pirates were outgained 417-301 in total offense.

Camp Point Central 41, Beardstown 0

• Zack Wear rushed for 122 yards as the Panthers, ranked third in Class 1A, rebounded from a one-point loss on the road to win their WIVC North opener. Central finished with 363 yards rushing, while senior linebacker Elijah Genenbacher had 21 tackles.

Brown County 32, Unity-Payson 0

• Jack Sefton returned the opening kick of the second half 80 yards for a touchdown, while fullback Trey Fullrton scored one of the Hornets’ two rushing touchdowns as they celebrated homecoming with their first victory of the season.

South Shelby 44, Monroe City 22

• The Cardinals, ranked seventh in Class 2, opened Clarence Cannon Conference play by getting 114 yards rushing from Preston Elsen and two rushing touchdowns from Pryce Eagan to remain undefeated.

Macomb 21, Illini West 6

• The Bombers used a dynamic effort defensively to secure the Lincoln Trail-Prairieland Conference victory at Fuzz Berges Field in Carthage. The Bombers are 3-0, while the Chargers drop to 0-3.

Elmwood-Brimfield 57, West Hancock 20

• The Titans allowed 57 or more points for the third straight week, negating any progress they’ve made offensively with a trip to Macomb looming next week in Lincoln Trail-Prairieland Conference action.

Stanford Olympia 43, Pittsfield 34

• The Saukees couldn’t make enough defensive stops to keep the Spartans from improving to 3-0.

Greenfield-Northwestern 32, Pleasant Hill 0

• One of the most consistently successful teams in the WIVC South Division continues to show why as the Tigers post their second shutout of the season and keep the Wolves from winning back-to-back games.

Palmyra 56, Macon 14

• The Panthers churned out more than 440 yards rushing with Landon Carroll and Wyatt Augspurg combining to score seven touchdowns in the Clarence Cannon Conference opener.

Brookfield 62, Highland 0

• The Bulldogs are no longer a member of the Clarence Cannon Conference, but they had no trouble playing like a league heavyweight in shutting out the Cougars.

Winfield 25, Mark Twain 6

• The Tigers head into Eastern Missouri Conference play next week after scoring just six points in back-to-back games.
