QUINCY — It’s time to fully invest in talking playoff football after Week 9 of the regular season wrapped up with Quincy High School going undefeated, South Shelby winning back-to-back Clarence Cannon Conference championship for the first time since 1971 and Brown County becoming the sixth area team to earn an Illinois playoff berth.

Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman broke it down with the coaches of those three squads — QHS’s Rick Little, South Shelby’s Adam Gunterman and Brown County’s Tom Little — as well as Quincy Notre Dame’s Jack Cornell, Illini West’s Jacob Calvin and Camp Point Central’s Brad Dixon during Friday night’s episode of Muddy Night Lights, powered by Farm & Home Supply.

Check out this week’s episode and we will return next week with playoff coverage.
