Muddy Night Hoops, Episode 3: Big week awaits Longcor, QHS boys basketball team
QUINCY — The top-ranked Quincy High School boys basketball team heads a week that could define the Western Big 6 Conference title chase.
The Blue Devils go to third-place Moline on Tuesday and play host to Rock Island on Friday. The Rocks and the Blue Devils are tied for the league lead at 5-0 and will wrap up the first half of the league season at 7 p.m. Friday at Blue Devil Gym.
QHS senior all-state guard Bradley Longcor III joined Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman in the Refreshment Services Pepsi Studio to break down the Blue Devils’ week ahead and what life is like with a group of guys he has been friends and teammates with since second grade on this episode of Muddy Night Hoops powered by Farm & Home Supply.
Also joining Schuckman on the Hess Auto Hotline are Palmyra senior forward Sydney Compton, Illini West boys basketball coach Blaize Kimmell and Canton boys basketball coach Dalton Armontrout.
