MACOMB, Ill. — Make it a clean sweep for the Macomb golfers.

The Bombers won both the boys and girls team titles as well as both individual championships Monday during the Prairieland Conference tournaments at Macomb Country Club.

On the boys side, Macomb repeated as the Prairieland champion, putting five golfers in the top 10 and posting a 326 team score. Lewistown-Valley-Cuba finished second at 362 and Elmwood was third at 372.

Bombers senior Connor Watson earned medalist honors by shooting a 77. Elmwood’s Tanner Wake was the only other golfer in the field to break 80, taking second with a 79. Macomb’s Hunter Wilson was third with an 80 and Justice Keene was fourth with an 81. Elliott Parkins (88) and Toby Cale (90) earned all-conference honors as well.

On the girls side, Macomb posted a 375 team title to capture the championship by 102 strokes. Elmwood was second with a 477, and Brimfield took third with a 508.

The Bombers’ Trinity Christensen earned medalist with an 87. Ainsley Holthaus (91), Kendall Oest (96) and Sophie Wilson (101) each earned all-conference honors as well.
