Adams County Speedway leaderboards, including the Stevie Dirt Dirty Thirty rankings

QUINCY — Here is a look at this week’s Adams County Speedway leaderboards:

Stevie Dirt Dirty Thirty rankings

Sport Mods

1. Logan Cumby: That second dominating feature win catapulted him back to the top spot.

2. Adam Birck: He’s the only Missouri sport mod driver in the rankings. Birck also extended his string of consecutive top-five feature finishes to five.

3. Nicholas Profeta: He is quietly establishing himself as a bona fide week-to-week threat.

4. Shane Paris: Glad too see Paris back last Sunday. He’s definitely one of the top five cars in the class — when he’s there.

5. Tanner Klingele: Only five drivers have four or more top-10 feature finishes, and this guy is one of them.

6. Reed Wolfmeyer: He’s been strong — and steady — in all but one week.

Modifieds

1. Dave Wietholder: The last year the track crowned a modified champ was 2019.  Wietholder, of course, won the championship, but do you have any idea who was behind him in the points standings? The rest of the top 10 that year were Josh Newman, Steve Grotz, Kevin Blackburn, Frankie Wellman, Rick Stevenson, Ronnie Yelton, Dugan Thye, Chris Spalding and Craig Segal.

2. Austen Becerra: Judging by his driving style, if Austen were a football player he’d be a linebacker.

3. Mike Vanderiet Jr.: I’m officially a believer. This guy’s a legitimate threat.

4. Kenny Wallace: Kenny’s fifth-place feature finish last Sunday may have been his lowest Quincy finish in recent years.

5. Brandyn Ryan: Ryan laying claim to the most improved driver among the mods.

6. Levi Long: He has a firm foothold on a top-five position in track points.

4-Cylinders

1. Jeffrey DeLonjay: From top to bottom, this year’s 4-Cylinder group is far and away the strongest and deepest group of four-bangers the track has ever seen, and it is led by Mr. DeLonjay.

2. Jimmy Dutlinger: For those who don’t know, Jimmy makes the haul each week from Pekin to compete at the Bullring.

3. Michael Grossman: Mike, who is from Keokuk, Iowa, is the only driver outside Illinois in the rare air of the 4-Cylinder rankings.

4. Nick Johnson: Nick has been solid from the onset, including last week’s third-place feature finish.

5. Jaden DeLonjay: He’s coming, and he’s coming fast.

6. Kim Abbott:  One of three drivers with four top-10s in this division.

Street Stocks

1. Robert Cottom: Cottom has proven he’s got the top car in the class … will be able to make the haul each week all season from his Galesburg home?

2. Leremy Jackson: Arguably the best name at the track.

3. Rudy Zaragoza: Hardest driver in any division?

4. Jake Powers: The Snake is the highest-ranked driver from the immediate Quincy area in this class.

5. Robert Thompson Sr.: Going back to the last time (2019) Thompson was seen in Quincy, he is definitely one of the most improved drivers.

6. Sage Martin: Arguably the second-best name at the track.

Late Models

1. Denny Woodworth: Denny finished 22nd in the MARS super late model main event.

2. Sam Halstead: Sam is eighth in points at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa.

3. Darin Weisinger Jr.: Darin’s 20th-place finish was tops among Quincy regulars running in the MARS race …

4. Rick Coats: … and Rick was next with a 21st-place run.

5. Braden Bilger: Braden was runner-up to Woodworth earlier this month in his only Quincy feature appearance to date.

6. Derrick Carlson: Derrick has also been known to wheel a modified.
