HANNIBAL, Mo. — A record-setting regular season landed Hannibal junior shortstop Kane Wilson and three teammates on the All-North Central Missouri Conference baseball team.

Wilson, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound right-handed hitter, finished the regular season with 44 hits, 13 doubles, five home runs and 44 RBIs. He also scored 27 runs. Moved to first base when Scott pitched, Wilson committed just four errors defensively.

He was second behind Ryan Ross in walks drawn with 19 and did not commit an error in 189 chances in the field.

Dryden hit .333 with nine doubles, five home runs, 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Harsell went 4-4 in nine starts with a 3.59 ERA and 31 strikeouts over 50.2 innings.

The Pirates finished the regular season with a 17-16 record. Hannibal is the host for the Class 5 District 4 tournament, which begins next Thursday. The sixth-seeded Hannibal faces third-seeded St. Dominic at 6:30 p.m. in the opening round at Veterans Field.
