Pirates, Raiders find success on links during inaugural Hannibal Lady Pirate Invitational
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The inaugural Hannibal Lady Pirate Invitational, played Monday at Norwoods Golf Course, resulted in a tie for medalist honors and a pair of area teams placing in the top three.
The Hannibal girls golf team finished second in its own event, fashioning a team score of 368, while Quincy Notre Dame finished third with a 382. St. Dominic won the team title with a 342 in the nine-team field.
Individually, Hannibal senior Siena Minor shared medalist honors with St. Dominic’s Annabelle Bush as both carded even-par 72s. Quincy Notre Dame sophomore Belle Boudreau was fourth with an 84, while the Raiders’ Meredith Eversman was seventh with a 93. The Pirates’ Kate Minor was ninth with a 98.
