Hannibal’s September Jam begins Sept. 8, open to boys and girls in grades 3-6
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The third annual September Jam will begin Sept. 8 at the Hannibal Parks and Recreation courts in the Norfolk & Southern Multi-Sports Park at Sixth Street and Warren Barrett Drive.
The clinic is for boys and girls in 3rd-6th grades and will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates: Sept. 8, Sept. 15, Sept. 22 and Sept. 29.
Hannibal basketball aficionados promote the sport by offering free instruction and coaching. Caleb Gosney and members of the Hannibal High School coaching staff say the goal is to encourage young players to develop their skills.
Registration isn’t necessary but notification of participants will help the organizers plan. Participants are asked to bring a basketball if possible.
