HANNIBAL, Mo. — Two goals, a tournament title and a school record.

Bella Falconer had a pretty good Saturday.

After beating Southern Boone 3-0 with Falconer scoring twice last Friday night in the opening game of Hannibal girls soccer team’s tournament at Porter Stadium during, the Pirates turned around on Saturday and smoked Sikeston 8-0 and beat Raymore-Peculiar 2-1 in the championship game.

In the process, Falconer became the Pirates’ all-time leading scorer.

The senior forward and multi-sport standout scored twice against Sikestone, the first of which gave her 105 career goals and moved her past Shelby Stine for the Hannibal career record. She also scored twice against Ray-Pec giving her 108 career goals and counting.

Such an effort and historic mark earns Falconer the Area Distributors Area Player of the Week honor.
