Wildcats’ Caparros picks up Heart Offensive Player of the Week honors

CANTON, Mo. — Montse Caparros, a senior midfielder on the Culver-Stockton College women’s soccer team, was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, after recording her first career hat trick.
Caparros scored three times in the Wildcats’ 6-0 weather-shortened victory over Evangel in Springfield, Mo., last week. Caparros put five of her six shots on goal as the Wildcats won their third consecutive game in what is now a four-game winning streak.
Caparros, who is tied for the team lead with four goals this season, has 11 career goals. She also has two assists this season.
