Three C-SC men’s basketball players earn All-Heart of America Athletic Conference honors

CANTON, Mo. — The Culver-Stockton College men’s basketball team had three players receive postseason honors from the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Senior guard Robert Fry II and junior forward Seth Larson were named to the All-Heart second team, while junior guard Tai Walters-Whitaker received honorable mention.

The 6-foot-1 Fry averaged a team-best 14.2 points to go with 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He scored a season-high 23 points against Central Methodist and finished in double figures in 21 games. He also had five games of five or more assists.

He was a three-time All-Heart selection in his career, receiving second-team honors in 2021 and honorable mention in 2023.

The 6-foot-5 Larson averaged 14 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, which ranked 10th in the Heart. He shot 45.4 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from 3-point range and 71.1 percent from the foul line.

He registered five double-doubles, scoring 20 or more points and 10 or more rebounds five times each. He was an honorable mention All-Heart selection last season. 

Walters-Whitaker averaged 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He recorded three double-doubles and had five games of five or more assists. 

The Wildcats finished with a 14-15 overall record, finishing sixth in the 13-team conference with a 12-12 mark.
