QUINCY — The Quincy University women’s volleyball team took advantage of its return to Pepsi Arena to get its season right back on track. The Hawks, coming off back-to-back losses, beat Indianapolis 25-21, 20-25, 25-17, 25-19 on Friday night.

Quincy is 24-3 overall and 10-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

QU outside hitter Emma Wijnbergen led the Hawks with 20 kills and 18 digs, while Luna Van Baars had 14 kills and Susanna Beretti had 23 digs. Brianna Merkel dished out 49 assists.

The victory marked the 100th win for QU coach Mark Jones in his fifth season at the helm.
