Photo gallery: QU baseball team wins first two games of weekend series with McKendree

QUINCY — The logistical challenges of moving a four-game Great Lakes Valley Conference baseball series from the McKendree campus to QU Stadium were unique, but the end result of Friday’s series-opening doubleheader was expected. The 14th-ranked Hawks swept the Bearcats, winning 15-5 and 5-2.
Due to weather concerns, the rest of the weekend schedule has been altered and the teams will finish the series with a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday.
