QUINCY — As each day passes, the Quincy University baseball team moves a step closer to its ultimate goal. Saturday, the Hawks can take a leap forward.

They will face Northwood at noon Saturday at QU Stadium, needing to win just once to capture the regional title and advance to the super regional. The top-seeded Hawks put themselves in this position by belting three home runs and overcoming an early deficit in a 6-3 victory over the fifth-seeded Timberwolves.
