Mart Heinen golf tournament set for Friday at Quincy Country Club
QUINCY — Quincy University’s Mart Heinen Booster Club will be the host of its 44th annual Mart Heinen Golf Tournament on Friday, May 5 at the Quincy Country Club, 2410 State.
The tournament is played in a scramble format. Lunch begins at 11:15 a.m., and a shotgun tee off begins at 12:30 p.m. Individual and team prizes will be awarded. In case of rain, dinner will still be served and prizes will be distributed, plus a certificate for 18 holes with a cart.
The entry fee is $150 per person. It includes golf and cart, gift, refreshments and food on the course, lunch and heavy appetizers following play, and prizes.
The Mart Heinen Athletic Booster Club is a group of individuals who volunteer their time and resources to help Quincy University athletic teams. All proceeds benefit the QU athletic program.
