Chuck French Memorial Golf Tournament in September to benefit QU football team

QUINCY — The Chuck French Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits the Quincy University football program, will take place on Friday, Sept. 29 during homecoming weekend at the Quincy Country Club, 2410 State.

Entry fee for the tournament is $175 per person and includes golf, cart, lunch and prizes.

Registration and lunch will be held at 11:15 a.m. with a shotgun start to begin the tournament at 12:30 p.m. Registration deadline is Sept. 25.

In case of rain, lunch will still be served and prizes will be distributed. Golfers will be given a certificate to use at a later date for 18 holes with a cart.

People or businesses interested in sponsoring a hole should contact Gary Bass at bassga@quincy.edu for more information. The cost to sponsor a hole is $200.
