Kroc Center offering drop-in pickleball on Thursdays through March 10
QUINCY — The Kroc Center will be the host of drop-in pickleball on Thursdays through March 10. Participants will learn how to play pickleball, in addition to scrimmaging other participants during the lesson. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome.
Drop-in pickleball is free to Kroc Center members and $8.50 for non-members per session. All equipment will be provided. Lessons will take place every Thursday through March 10 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The class will be instructed by Kristy Stegeman, recreational sports specialist at The Kroc Center.
“Many people don’t realize that pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America,” Stegeman said. “Drop-in pickleball at The Kroc Center is a great way to learn the fundamentals of the sport as well as play with other participants in an instructional setting.”
