JWCC to be host of Blazer Bash from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday

QUINCY — John Wood Community College will be the host of a free community event called Blazer Bash from noon-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, on the Quincy campus at 48^th and Harrison.

This event is all about community, fun, free food, family and JWCC Blazer sports.

The schedule of events is:

• 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m. or 11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Trail Blazer Visit Day for prospective students – sign up at JWCC.EDU/TRAILBLAZERDAY
• Noon-2 p.m. – Family Fun and Free Lunch

Noon-4 p.m. – Blazer Athletics Games:

• 12 p.m. – Women Soccer                      
• 12 p.m. – Baseball                                   
• 1 p.m. – Volleyball
• 2 p.m. – Men Soccer
• 2 p.m. – Blazer Cheer Team

Noon – 4 p.m. – Meet the Blazers – photos and autographs with your favorite Blazer player or team

• 12 p.m. – Softball
• 12:30 p.m. – Baseball
• 1 p.m. – Basketball Men and Women
• 2 p.m. – Women Soccer
• 3 p.m. – Volleyball
• 4 p.m. – Men Soccer

Vendors and other activities are:

• Axe Throwing 
• Humane Society 
• Sweet P Petals 
• Sno Biz Shaved Ice 
• Yard Games 
• Giveaways. 
• Big Trucks – fire truck, helicopter, ambulance, patrol car, semi truck and tractors
