QUINCY — The Quincy University baseball program will host its annual golf outing at Spring Lake Country Club on Oct. 23, and this year it will be coupled with a full weekend of events.

The weekend kicks off with the alumni game on Oct. 22 at QU Stadium, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.

The annual golf outing is scheduled for a shotgun start at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The cost to play is $150 per player. Breakfast sandwiches and six drink tickets will be included in the cost. Registration for the golf outing can be done online. On the registration link, participants also will also find options to sponsor a hole or donate to the program.

After the golf outing, an alumni social will start at 7 p.m. at the Revelry Sports Bar, 119 N. Fourth, on the Washington Park square. This event will give the QU baseball community a chance to meet and interact with alumni from multiple generations. A portion of the proceeds from this event will support the program.
