Adams County Aces softball tryouts to be held July 13 and 14

QUINCY — The Adams County Aces softball program will conduct tryouts for 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U teams July 13-14 at the Quincy Notre Dame softball field, 1400 S. 11th. In case of inclement weather, tryouts will be held indoors at QND.

Tryout times are:

July 13

• 10U-5-6:30 p.m.
• 12U-6-7:30 p.m.

July 14

• 14U-5-6:30 p.m.
• 16U-6-7:30 p.m.

The tryouts will consist of an evaluation of softball skills including speed, base running, arm strength and accuracy, fielding, hitting and bunting, attitude and effort.

Players will need a signed waiver, copy of a birth certificate and an $20 tryout fee.

Players are encouraged to pre-register by emailing breygen27@hotmail.com and include the following information: player name, birth date and age, current school, grade entering for the 2022-23 school year and primary position(s) played.
