Unity def. Western 25-16, 25-10: Ashlynn Arnsman had 11 service points and nine kills for the Mustangs (13-6). Kylie Barry had six kills and nine digs, and Taylor Nichols had 14 assists.
At Hannibal, Mo.
Hannibal def. Fulton 25-10, 25-10, 25-14: Bella Falconer had 15 kills and 20 digs in a North Central Missouri Conference victory. Nora Hark had five kills, nine set assists and seven digs. Ashlyn Hess had 24 set assists. Courtney Locke and Kate Maune each had six kills, and Annie Wagner had 13 digs for the Pirates (8-5-4, 3-0 in the NCMC).
At Griggsville, Ill.
Brown County def. Griggsville-Perry 25-10, 25-13: Cyrah Dunlap had four kills and eight digs, and Brooke Garthaus had four kills and four digs in a Western Illinois Valley Conference victory.Gabby McGath had 15 assists and five service aces. Katey Flynn and Klare Flynn added three kills apiece for the Hornets (14-3, 4-0 in WIVC).

Central def. Liberty 26-24, 25-13: The Eagles fall to 5-14.

College Women’s Volleyball
At St. Louis
Quincy University recorded its third consecutive three-set sweep victory, defeating Maryville 25-13, 25-21, 25-19 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match. The Hawks hit .273 as a team. Emily Rehagen finished with 15 kills on 34 attempts, committing just four errors to hit .344. Mattie Norris had 12 kills and 11 digs. Emma Wijnbergen added nine kills on 17 attempts with just one error for a hitting percentage of .471. Makayla Knoblauch had 32 assists. America Galvan had 13 digs while Knoblauch added eight. Alyssa Grimm had four total blocks.

At Clarksville, Mo.
Clopton 11, Mark Twain 1: Taylor Martin had the Tigers’ only RBI. Audrey Ross had a double, and Mariah Clements, Autumn Arndt, Emily Evans and Kenleigh Epperson all had hits for Mark Twain (7-13).
At Macon, Mo.
Macon 7, Highland 0: The Cougars were limited to three hits and committed five errors in a Clarence Cannon Conference game. MiKayla Dreyer had two hits for Highland (7-13). Payton Miller allowed just three earned runs and seven hits while striking out six.
At Philadelphia, Mo.
Canton 5, Marion County 1: The No. 1-ranked Tigers had RBIs from five players in the victory. Emma Hultz was the winning pitcher, striking out eight batters. Kenzie Guilfoyle had four hits for Canton (12-3).
At Brookfield, Mo.
Palmyra 6, Brookfield 2: Panthers pitcher Kennedy Wilson allowed two hits and one walk in six innings, and reliever Jazlin Gottman recorded the final three outs in a Clarence Cannon Conference victory. Wilson also drive in a pair of runs for Palmyra, which was limited to four hits.

At Sterling, Ill.
Sterling 2, QHS 1: Carter Venvertloh had the only goal for the Blue Devils (8-4-3), who lost for the first time in five Western Big Six Conference matches. Fabricio Pena and Adrian Gallardo scored the goals for the Warriors, and goalkeeper Sergio Garcia stopped a penalty kick. QHS and Geneseo are tied for the league lead with 4-1 records.
Prep Tennis
At Palmyra, Mo.
QND 7, Palmyra 2: Six of the nine matches had scores of either 8-5 or 8-6, but Quincy Notre Dame won four of them in claiming the victory. Lia Quintero had the most dominant victory for the Raiders, winning 8-0 over Katy Rindom at No. 1 singles. Olivia Ley defeated Molly Gottman 8-6 at No. 3 singles, then teamed with Quintero to beat Rindom and Gottman at No. 1 doubles. Ava Jacobsen and Aly Young also picked up victories in singles and doubles for QND. Maura Gottman won at No. 2 singles and teamed up with Jaynee Durst to win at No. 2 doubles.
At Quincy
QHS 8, Macomb 1: Lily Hayes, Audra Cain, Amelia Willina, Mackenzie Carter and Lilli Wallace all won both their singles and doubles matches for a road victory for the Blue Devils (9-5). Lily Hayes had the most lopsided victory, an 8-0 decision over Kiley Jacques at No. 2 singles. She combined with her sister, Phoebe, to win 9-7 at No. 1 doubles over Jacques and Tali Stone in the tightest decision.
Prep Cross Country
At Macomb, Ill.
West Hancock’s Miles Shepherd dominated the boys’ field, finishing in 14:58.8 — more than two minutes ahead of his nearest competitor — during the Macomb Invitational. The Titans took three of the top four places, with Gabe Miller (17:07.9) taking second and Parker Quinlan (17:20.1) taking fourth. Freshman Joe Warning was QND’s highest finisher, taking sixth in 17:26.1. Illini West’s Cole Kirkham placed eighth in 17:45.8, and Pittsfield’s Jackson Veile was 11th in 18:19.5. West Hancock grabbed the team crown with 25 points. Petersburg PORTA was second, followed by Mercer County and Quincy Notre Dame.
Quincy Notre Dame had four runners place in the top 13 of the girls’ race. Teresa Drotar was fifth with a time of 21:48.6 for the Raiders. Natalie Farah was ninth, Makayla Patton was 12th and Abigail Genenbacher was 13th for QND. Cambridge’s Miranda Reed had the best time of 19:33.7. Destiny Huffman of West Hancock was 22nd, and Unity’s Elizabeth Adams was 29th. Mercer County had four of the top eight runners and took first, with QND placing second.
