At Greenfield, Ill.

Brown County 14, Greenfield 0: Taryn Moorman tossed a three-hit shutout as the Hornets rolled to another Western Illinois Valley Conference victory. She struck out nine and walked none. The Hornets battered the Tigers’ pitching, collecting 16 hits, including nine for extra bases. Cyrah Dunlap went 3 for 4 with a double and two triples, while Katey Flynn and Ashlee Markert both went 3 for 4. Savannah Rogers went 2 for 3 with a double and a triple, and Klare Flynn drove in four runs. Brown County is 19-0 overall.

At Camp Point, Ill.

Central 7, Beardstown 5: The Panthers scored a run in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game and took the lead with a pair of runs in the sixth. Haley Cramer worked around a leadoff walk in the seventh to get three straight groundouts and preserve the victory. Macie Reuschel, who led off the fifth with a single, scored on a wild pitch with two outs to tie the game at 5. In the sixth, Karlee Marlow, Katie Hildebrand and Carlie Goehl collected back-to-back-to-back singles with one out to plate one run. After a walk to Reuschel, Hildebrand scored on a wild pitch for the 7-5 lead. Marlow and Goehl both went 3 for 4, while Hildebrand, Reuschel and Maddie Hamilton each had two hits. Cramer allowed one hit and no runs over three innings of relief with four strikeouts and one walk. The Panthers are 11-6 after their fourth straight victory.

At Liberty, Ill.

Liberty 9, Western 3: The Eagles used a four-run third inning to propel them to the victory. Larissa Neisen went 3 for 3 with two runs scored for Liberty, while Madi Tritsch had two hits and Makenna Zanger drove in two runs. Jade Blair struck out five and walked none in earning the victory. Karli Colgrove had two hits for the Wildcats.

At Mendon, Ill.

West Hancock 18, Unity 16: After falling behind 8-0, the Titans roared back and won the slugfest. Lillie Woodworth went 4 for 4 with a double and four runs scored for West Hancock, which had 16 hits and capitalized on five Unity errors. Kendall Nagel and Paige Wasielewski had three hits apiece for the Titans. Kylee Barry went 5 for 5 with a home run and five RBIs for the Mustangs, who collected 23 hits with five doubles and four home runs. Ashlynn Arnsman went 4 for 5 with a double and a home run, while Taylor Goudschaal went 4 for 5 with a double, a home run and five RBIs.

Unity 8, West Hancock 5: The Mustangs scored two runs in each of the first four innings to earn the split. Sophia Shaffer went 3 for 3 with a triple and two runs scored for Unity, while Taylor Goudschaal and Kylee Barry each had two hits. Lillie Woodworth went 3 for 3 with a triple for West Hancock, while Paige Wasielewski had two hits and Kendall Nagel homered.
