Junior city golf championships result in solid scores at Westview Golf Course
QUINCY — The Quincy city junior golf tournament took place Thursday at Westview Golf Course. Golfers ages 12 and older played 18 holes, golfers ages 9-11 played nine holes and golfers 8 and under played five holes.
In the girls 12-13 division, Olivia Scholz shot a 79 to take first place, while Elise Snider was second with an 86. In the boys 12-13 division, Maxwell Ricker took first place with a 79 and Hayden Moller was second with a 92.
In the girls 14-15 division, Nancy Scholz shot a 79 and Natalie Druffel posted an 81 to finish first and second, respectively. In the boys 14-15 division, Kale Friye shot a 77 and Michael Lepper shot a 79 to take the top two spots.
Isabelle Boudreau shot a 79 to win the girls 16-17 division, and Harper Hough shot a 79 to win the boys 16-17 division.
In the girls 9-11 division, Ari Brock took first place with a 36, and Alyssa Druffel was second with a 40. In the boys 9-11 division, Nolan Kelly and Beckam Peters tied for the top spot as each shot a 50. In the girls 8 and under division, Magnolia Schrage shot a 34 for the top spot.
