QU men’s golf team finishes 13th out of 13 teams at GLVC Championship
INDIANAPOLIS — The Quincy University men’s golf team finished 13th out of 13 teams as it wrapped up its season at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Golf Championship at Broadmoor Country Club on Friday and Saturday. Teams played 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday.
The Hawks shot a 3-round total of 949 (325-311-313). The University of Missouri-St. Louis won with a 858 (286-285-287).
Ryan Kruse led the Hawks with a tie for 40th place shooting a 233 (80-80-73). Patrick Ringwald was two shots behind Kruse with a 235 (81-74-80). Other Hawks who participated were Nick Messinger (237), Grant Wolfe (249) and T.J. Wensing (256).
