Two Palmyra wrestlers win three tournament championships offered by Missouri USA Youth Wrestling

PALMYRA, Mo. — Two members of the Palmyra Youth Wrestling Club recently completed the Missouri USA Youth Wrestling “Triple Crown.”
Missouri USA Youth Wrestling has three state tournaments — a folkstyle tournament in March, and freestyle and Greco-Roman tournaments held May 3-4. All three tournaments were held in Springfield, Mo.
Ava Rife, 12, and Cooper Nicholson, 8, were champions in all three tournaments. Rife wrestled at 115 pounds, and Nicholson wrestled at 80 pounds.
