QUINCY — Quincy Notre Dame senior Abram Wiewel continues to stake his claim as one of the top baseball players in the area.
Wiewel struck out 16 Brown County batters and added a triple in QND’s 10-2 victory on Monday. Wiewel has compiled a 2.14 ERA with 69 strikeouts in 36 innings and is hitting .516 with 11 home runs this season. QND junior infielder Weston Reyburn hit his first career home run in the sixth inning, and Eli Johnson followed suit with his fourth homer of the season to punctuate the victory.
