QHS boys tennis team whitewashes Hannibal to earn 10th victory

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Quincy High School boys tennis team reached the 10-victory plateau in grand style on Thursday, winning all six singles matches and all three doubles matches in a 9-0 victory over Hannibal to improve to 10-2 this season.
The closest match of the day was at No. 2 singles, in which Drake Dodd defeated Jace Lee 9-8 by winning the tiebreak 7-5. No other match was closer than 8-3. Four singles matches were decided by 8-1 scores. Dodd and Arrow Crist beat Braiden Mickels and Titus Campbell 8-0 in No. 2 doubles.
