Quincy Family YMCA to offer six-week youth golf program at The KC Range beginning March 29

QUINCY — The Quincy Family YMCA recently announced the creation of its youth golf program, in partnership with R&R Golf and The KC Range. This program is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of golf while fostering sportsmanship and a love for the game.

Registration is open for this six-week program, which runs March 29 through May 3 with sessions held every Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at The KC Range.

Participants in the program, in grades 1-8, will learn the basics of golf, swing techniques, putting and course etiquette under the guidance of experienced coaches.

Cost is $75 for YMCA members and $85 for non-members. Registration must be completed online by March 10 at quincyymca.net/register or by visiting the YMCA in person.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with R&R Golf and The KC Range to offer a program that introduces youth to golf, a sport that emphasizes discipline, focus and fun,” Michael Cody said in a press release. “This partnership allows us to deliver a high-quality experience to young golfers in our community.”
