Hannibal-LaGrange University 2, Culver-Stockton College 0: Jack Gibson made eight saves in goal for the Wildcats, but the Trojans scored once in each half to earn the victory. The Wildcats fell to 2-2.

At Blackwell Field, Hannibal, Mo.

Culver-Stockton College 4, Hannibal-LaGrange University 0: The Wildcats scored twice in each half and improved to 3-1 overall with the victory. Rachel Iacobellia and Montse Caparros scored in the first half, with Coral Dillie and Kalia Abad netting goals in the second half. Angela Lloret had two assists for the Wildcats.

Girls Volleyball

At Rushville, Ill.

Quincy Notre Dame d. Rushville-Industry: Junior middle hitter Abbey Schreacke and sophomore outside hitter Emma Hoing each had seven kills as the Raiders rolled to a 25-15, 25-12 victory. Schreacke also had six aces, while freshman Annie Eaton had 14 assists and three aces.

At Mount Sterling, Ill.

Brown County d. Winchester West Central: The Hornets played their first nine matches of the season on the road, finally coming home Wednesday and celebrating with a 25-11, 25-9 victory. Katey Flynn had six kills, six digs and two blocks, while Klare Flynn had three kills, four blocks and four digs. Gabby McGath finished with 12 assists as the Hornets improved to 9-1.

At Augusta, Ill.

Southeastern d. Monmouth United: The Suns ran their season-opening winning streak to seven matches with a 25-17, 25-18 victory. Taylor Wagner and Amanda Stephens had 11 kills apiece, while Ani Kerr had 30 assists and Summer Ramsey had 10 digs.

Boys Golf

At Old Orchard Country Club, Pittsfield, Ill.

Pittsfield Quadrangular: Ross Thompson took medalist honors with a 39 as Quincy Notre Dame topped the team standings with a 168. Pittsfield was second at 183, while Unity was third (201) and Central was fourth (208). Konnor Craven shot a 41 for the Raiders, while Brennan Tomhave led the Saukees with a 43.

Girls Golf

At Deer Run Golf Course, Hamilton, Ill.

West Hancock Quadrangular: Quincy High School distanced itself from the field, shooting a 174 to win by nearly 60 strokes. West Hancock was second at 233, followed by Payson Seymour (238) and Unity (255). The Blue Devils’ Paige Cain was medalist with a 41.

At Gold Hills Golf Course, Colchester, Ill.

Macomb Quadrangular: Quincy Notre Dame’s Hana Knuffman and Macomb’s Lily Vardaman shared medalist honors with a 38, while the Bombers won the team title with a 179. QND was second at 194, followed by Havana at 224 and Canton at 229.

Women’s Volleyball

At Champaign, Ill.

Parkland d. John Wood Community College: The Cobras swept the Region 24 match, winning 25-11, 25-17, 25-14. Leanne Blue led the Trail Blazers with five kills and five digs, while Isadora Gasparini had 11 assists and Belinda Torres had 15 digs.
