SHELBINA, Mo. — The snow that fell overnight added an element of joy Saturday’s Class 2 state semifinal football game between South Shelby and Fair Grove because if gave both teams the opportunity to play in conditions most teams never see.

Fair Grove won 55-21, ending South Shelby’s run one step shy of playing in the sixth state title game in program history.
