Editor’s Note: Quincy High School will hold its Hall of Fame induction ceremony at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday between games of the 53rd QHS Thanksgiving Tournament at Blue Devil Gym. Below is the biography used by the QHS Hall of Fame committee to honor one of this year’s inductees.
QUINCY — Arguably the most dominant girls tennis player in program history, Kadi Fauble finished her four-year career having won 145 matches — the most ever by a Blue Devil. That included never losing a singles match on Court 1 at Reservoir Park during her high school career.
Fauble went 38-5 in singles as a senior, winning three matches at the state tournament after winning the sectional championship. She lost only three games in four matches at the sectional. Fauble won three sectional championships in her career and finished second as a freshman.
Fauble is one of two players in Western Big 6 Conference history to win four consecutive conference singles championships and qualified for the state tournament four times.
She earned all-state honors three times.
Fauble played two years on the University of Missouri club tennis team, helping it advance to the National Club Championships twice. As a junior, she was recruited to join the Mizzou women’s tennis team and played in the SEC Tournament. Fauble received “For the Love of the Game Award” by the Mizzou Athletic Department, the “Performance Athlete of the Year” by Mizzou tennis’ athletic training staff.
She earned her degree in biological sciences from Mizzou in 2018, a masters in biomedical sciences from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (A.T. Still University) in 2020, and her doctorate in medical dentistry from the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (A.T. Still University) in 2024.
She and her husband, Aiden McDonnell, live in Quincy.
