Teams needed for fall machine-pitch league at Bear Creek Sports Park
HANNIBAL, Mo. — Bear Creek Sports Park is seeking teams for a fall machine-pitch league. The teams are for 8 to 12-year-olds and can be co-ed. Only teams can sign up, and the enrollment deadline is August 4.
Jacob Bone, recreation supervisor from Bear Creek Sports Park, said this will be an instructional league designed to develop athletes’ skills. In a press release, Bone said, “This is a way to advance your baseball team throughout the fall.”
The teams will play six games, one night per week. The league requires at least three teams. Parents with children who want to join a team should contact Bone at jbone@hannibal-mo.gov.
