Mosswood Meadows Golf Course to celebrate its 40th anniversary with June 30 celebration
MONROE CITY, Mo. — Mosswood Meadows Golf Course will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a community celebration planned for June 30.
The course, located at 1315 Lakeview Drive, opened July 1, 1984, and was founded by George T. Spalding. The course is considered one of the top nine-hole layouts in Northeast Missouri.
The June 30 celebration will begin with tours of the facility via golf cart at 11 a.m. with an opening ceremony scheduled for noon. Food will also be available beginning at noon. Tee time for a four-person scramble is 1 p.m. Participants can sign up upon arrival with AJ Cooper.
Memorabilia celebrating the 40th anniversary will be available for purchase.
