QUINCY — Registration is underway for the third annual Cardiac Classic golf tournament to benefit the Blessing Heart and Vascular Center and its patients.

The event will be held at Spring Lake Country Club in Quincy on Friday, June 21, with sign-in between 8:30 and 9 a.m. The format is a 4-person scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided between 1:30 and 3 p.m. Cost is $350 per team. To register, contact Braden at Spring Lake Country Club at 319-750-0055.

The Cardiac Classic was created by Craig Redmon, a former patient of the Blessing Heart and Vascular Center, and other friends and family of the late Raymond “Shocker” Schafer of LaGrange, Mo., to raise awareness of heart disease and support care provided by Blessing. Shocker passed away in 2018 as a result of heart disease.
