QUINCY — The temperature dipped below 40 degrees and the wind blew across the field with gusts up to 25 mph, creating challenges for both the Hannibal and Quincy Notre Dame girls soccer teams to maintain possession and control.

Ultimately, the Pirates used the wind to their advantage and scored a 3-1 victory at Advance Physical Therapy Field for their first victory ever against the Raiders.
