QHS boys stay at No. 3 in Class 4A, but three of top six teams in poll suffered losses Tuesday night
The Quincy High School boys basketball team remains at No. 3 in the Associated Press Class 4A basketball poll. The top two teams in the poll lost on Tuesday — Homewood-Flossmoor was beaten 65-61 by Bradley-Bourbonnais, and Curie lost 73-66 to Lindblom. No. 6 Collinsville also lost 62-57 to Highland in overtime.
However, voters turned in their ballots before games were played on Tuesday, so don’t expect any shakeup at the top until next week’s poll.
Here are the boys prep basketball polls with rank, team, first-place votes, record, total points, and previous ranking.
